Thanks Steve for the reply I have an important question though I need answered. So I went to a reptile store yesterday and decided to check out the turtle section and to my surprise in one of the turtle turtle tubs he had red ear sliders, west african sidenecked turtles, and pink belly or new guinea snappers all together in the tub so I asked him are the new guinea snappers aggressive at all towards the other turtles and he said not with other turtles depending on the species but more with the owner/handler he also said sometimes they will nip the other turtle species but thats about it, also the turtles were all adults. Do you think that a pink belly snapper would do well with a red ear slider since I keep hearing mixed things about the pink belly snappers on other forums and websites but most of what I found says they can be nippy but overall a good turtle to mix with a red ear slider what do you think about that info and can you rate or prioritize the pink belly snapper/elseya novaguinea on how it would do with a red ear slider for me?
