Hey guys, I noticed some sort of growth on my turtles plastron, when viewed up close, it look like a small hole but doesn't have any depth to it.. weird..
My turtle is still basking regularly and active, but i noticed that its appetite has dropped drastically over these few days!

How old is he? That's where the yolk sac is absorbed.

my first thought was yolk sac as well, but the turtle appears to be too old to still have that.. also, by the color of your turtles skin is it some sort of morph?? a pastel RES perhaps? im not sure if this could play a part in it, and i doubt it is related to the bump, but just curious. any other pictures of your turtle?

Either way i do not think this is normal... it could be an infection from the yolk sac never fully healing but I really do not know. I have not seen anything similar to this on a turtle of that age. If it doesn't go away soon i would consider a visit to the vet.

Since it's protruding, do you guys think it might have calcified?
