I don't know what to do

I put Kame outside in her tote to get some sn, went inside to get some things...so maybe 15 minutes passed. And she's gone. The tote was tilted a bit so I'm assuming she climbed out.

There's this nasty stream nearby so I assume she went to that.

Any ideas on how I can get her back? i feel so stupid and I'm so worried about her.

I figured it was a long shot but I made some missing flyers for her.

I was looking into setting up a trap of some sort...i have no idea how to go about that though.

i dont wanna be a downer but ur turtle may be gone for good. although there are some ppl on here who found their turtles after a year or two. they just kinda popped back up. all u can do is keep looking and hope

Your turtle's name is kame?? hahaha wow never thought I'll meet someone who names his/her turtle Kame...this name is not special anymore hehe

Yeah I've read some people got lucky and got their turtle back. Just like rsour24 said, all you can do is wait and keep searching

Keep looking and establish a search pattern. Look under everything. If possible, try to setup a video camera or something that can record any movement outside.

Good luck on finding your turtle. ide just sit at the stream for hours and watch and see if a turtle pops out to get some sun.

Is your turtle friendly? If he is then he might be confused. Are there any predators in your area? A friendly turtle + Predators = not good
The best you can do is wait and hope you can get him back. Also, are RES native in your area?

Is it a RES? look for footprint and because their shell is heavy, they might leave some marks on the dirt while dragging their shell. Leave some food thats strong smelling outside near where she escaped. Look for her under stuffs.
