Here are some pics of the older RES. I was curious to see if the shell was ok or not healthy. I noticed one of the segments seems to be lifting..is this shedding?

Is that the basking area shown in the last picture? If so, you'll need to change it so that the turtle can completely dry off the top and bottom of it's shell.

Those spots on the turtle's shell don't look too great. It may be a fungal infection. Is there any odor or softness to the spots?

Yes, actually I raised the dock and it's completely out..can't tell if it smells though..should I sniff it?

The "segments" are the scutes, and they do lift off when a turtle sheds them. Your older RES looks in need of a good shed---the shell will look much better then.

Thanks..that's what happens with a small dock..lol..I went to Micahel's and they had NO IDEA what cork bark was..what the heck... :shock:

I would say the bigger one is about 5" long and the little ones are 3" long. The little ones too seem to have that dry, whitish blotching on their surface also.

Its just calcium deposits from hard water. You should change your water more often to help with that but its harmless.
