We're back! Some of you may remember Mary Jane formerly known as Crush and myself from before some may not. Anyhoo we're glad to be back and have a little update/question for someone in here.

For those that don't know Mary Jane is in a TEMPORARY 40gal tank while I'm living with my dad, she has a heater, UVB lighting as well as heated lighting. I normally feed her Mazuri one day and veggies the next. Seems since I have put the heater in the tank she wants nothing to do with the lettuce I put in there. She is only targeting the pellets and I'm not sure if it's normal at this time of year.

Gotta go to bed now, so good night y'all.

If you've giving her the same kind of lettuce every day, perhaps she's gotten a bit sick of it. Try something different. I don't think the heater has anything to do with her consumption (or not) of lettuce.

My turtles (RES and eastern painteds) will go through periods where they aren't really interested in leafy greens only to resume eating them when they feel like it. This is especially so in cooler weather when other food (pellets, etc.) is available.

Well, pellets will also be a target for them. Try using a veggie clip to hold the lettuce and offer a bit less of the pellets.
