Hi! My name is maelunoc, I'm from British Columbia, Canada and have an RES named Socrates. He's just a pup, not even three inches! Socrates has such a personality. He gets so excited everytime I come home, or when I come near his, and swims and swims and swims, pressing his stomach against the glass. He's a bit of a peeper. Every time my girlfriend gets undressed he's hanging out behind his rocks and peeking his head through them, the devil! Little feller is so cute though! He's got no problem basking while I'm around, and goes absolutely nutty when it's time for food. We have good talks, Socrates and I. Sometimes we spend a long time just staring at each other. His head above the water, mine.... not in water. A very strong bond indeed!
Now about me! I'm a college student studying at the local college. Arts degree for me. No idea what I want to be when I grow up, but I'm not in a hurry to get there. I like spinning fire. I'm a juggler by nature, but I've taken lately to the fire staff. My performance troupe has begun doing local shows, and are very excited to making performing our profession. In the meantime though, I work as an on-call First Aid Attendant (right now I'm sitting in a local brewery, where they make the nicest, smoothest, most pleasent Winter Ale... yummy!) Lesse what else? I like long walks on the beach in the moonlight, at the end of which there is a spread of yummy food and wine and chocolate.
I'm pursuing my zenful divine nature, and enjoy my times of meditation and creativity. I've just finished a pastel piece where I'm sitting in lotus at the bottom of the ocean. It's pretty. Anyway...
