Very nice!

You've got quite a fossil collection there too. Or are they bones? Is collecting them another one of your hobbies?

Yes, I was collecting bones, sculls, fossils, antique furniture and all that stuff, but now i don't have time and most of all, I don't have space for it. I am thinking about the basking area. If I make it from glass, I have to make it stable, that means it will be weary difficult to clean the akvarium. Maybe I'm making it from wood, it is not so nice, but can be moved when ewer you need it!

How about bark? Cork bark makes a very nice basking area - very natural. You can get it in sheets that you can cut to fit your tank. Someone on here suggests cutting it to fit snug against the walls of the tank to anchor it in place. It floats on its own, of course. You can just pull it out when you need to clean.

Cork bark, I must see if I can by it, if not, I'll try to make it myself. My season is over, so now I have time. Today I saw some external filters in a pet-shop, but they are toooooo expensive, but I saw how they work and decided, that I'll just copy the system (during the winter). I wrote some veterinarians and have now a lot of contradictory answers :( Somebody wrote, that if you don't have a place where your turtle can place her eggs it is considered cruelness. Du you have such a thing? Feri is courting all the time and I wouldn't like to have eggs.

Cork bark!!!!!!!!

Huraa! When I asked in a few shops about it, they just lucked at me asking themselves if I was crazy. I think I will by a lot of corks used in wine production and stitch them together with nylon used by fisherman. Let's see how it locks in dif it works.

yes, I am thinking about one from wood, but I'll put some Plexiglas's under it, so it doesnt get wet, and it also has to look nice because the tank is in the living room :D!
