Habitat - Indoor :: Descaling

My brother just left to our friends house where there is a 40+ gallon tank that we can have for free.

The only problem is that the inside is like pure limescale.

What product would y'all recommend?

The only way to safely clean a tank I believe is with white vinegar and diluted bleach-both of which require frequent rinsing and sun-drying. They sell reptile tank cleaners as well..

I was just gonna use CLR...

and rinse like 10 times.

Vinegar and razor blades. You can also try rubbing alcohol or cut a lemon in half and rub it on the stains.

so basically, I need a natural acid?

I'd say try a variety of things. Depending on the type of deposit, it might react differently. Either way, none of the things I mentioned are expensive, though you will need to put in some elbow grease.
