We immediate got him a basking spot, heat lamp, new uv bulb, plants, rocks, big filter, etc. They gave him a 50 gallon acrylic tank and a stick. That was it! Oh, and they had a filter that could handle 20 gallons.
He was very small and now has grown lots
We let him walk around the kitchen and living room every week. He gets tired of course and finds a good hiding spot. The cats love to follow him around and get him to hiss at them. They always let me know where Seymore has taken 'refuge'.
We found this site and forum a while back when we wanted to know what to feed him (that was proper and not pet store propaganda) and what is the best way to care/feed/etc for him
We love having him here and our 4 mo old granddaughter cant take her eyes of him swimming back and forth.
