Hey everyone. I have finally figured out what I'm going to do with my tank. Sadly, it wont be for a turtle, at least for now. I think i'm going to look into a freshwater Planted tank with fish and shrimp. I'd love to have a turtle again, but when I go away to school for my Batchlors degree I'll be unable to take care of my turtle and I think it is a lot to leave my parents to do.

So, that leaves me with a, well plethor of turlte stuff. As you know I bought well, almost everything i coulda needed for these little ones, and i wish they still could enjoy it, that's why I'm now offering them for other people. Here is what i have: (shipping is covered by the buyer, unless you make an arangement with me. Deals are accepted just PM me)

ZooMed Floating Log $25

ZooMed Floating Dock $5

8.5" Porcelain Clamp Lamp, with inline switch. I can take a picture if you'd like $15

100 Watt daylight spot light. Used about 200 hours on a timer $5

Reptisun 10.0 Compact Flourcent. It was used about 200 or so hours on a timer. $20

A Small filter that came in a "All Living Things Turtle Habitat Kit" I paid i think 30ish for the kit, it had a small clamp lamp (i use my Reptisun 10.0 in this) A filter, and stick on thermometer (i used that).

But i can sell it as a kit the Filter, small clamp lamp, and fliter) $20 (i have a new cartrige, i currently use it in my 10 gal, but i have a brand new cartridge) guppie tank and havent had to clean the filter or change water yet, it's been up for about 2 months, water is clear... I can have pics if wanted.

If you'd like i have the fake plants, if you get something from my list and you'd like i'll be willing to throw them in, suction cup included so you can just stick them on the wall like a little "resting area" my RES's used to sleep in these, because i'd have them partilally submirged. I only have a few so. I also have extra food and a large cuttlebone piece i can include if someone wants.

http://s118.photobucket.com/albums/o111 ... r/Turtles/ Check out my photobucket i have pictures of the plants, lights, and stuff. More available upon request.

I honestly have no idea what to price anything for so PM me, i'm really reasonable.

I suggest http://www.craigslist.org, since people are VERY spaced out in the country/world, this might not be the best place to try to sell

For this is true, i just figured i'd offer here first. It'll go on craigslist shortly. I've been around the forums, i know there are a few people who need some things but we'll see

It can all go in a package, or individually. And what i did was match the prices up against petsmarts online sale they are having. Most if not all are cheaper by about 1/2 or so.

Just something I'd point out, good idea to tell what size of Turtle Dock that is for potential buyers.

Muirner,
I'm sorry to see that you're not going to get another turtle. You are such a great turtle dad! I hope you stick around the board!

Pizza - Good point, and i've had one inquery about it thus far. It's the small size, the exact demsions can be posted tomorow i'm just finishing up installing a new water heater due to the fact the old one decided to leak.

Mkoby - Me as well. But now i know the lovely world of RES's and how sweet they really can be. I want one in the future, but one, or many that will have a giant home. I will always adore these little, and well not so little ones, they are beautiful reptiles!

Although I agree with the others about how good you were at taking care of your turtles, I also have to commend you for knowing your limitations :)

If you can't give it the best care and home because of other obligations, you're smart in waiting until you can. Smart move even if a bit sad.

I'll see how much shipping would be and we could figure something out.... PM me with an address. Also i would throw the plants in for free. I'm setting up a tank that wont use fake plants. Pictures to come.
