so im un-happy with my thermometer and i want something more accurate and inexpensive.

any ideas?

i heard digital thermometers are good, but how much are they?

Digital thermometers are great. You can find them as low as $5 or so. I have one I bought for just under $5 and it has a probe with a long wire and a suction cup by the probe so I can stick it to the aquarium wall and let the display part hang down the side of the tank.
