Not eating, sleeping, floating, no movie much.

It keeps putting itself next to a rock.

The turtle had not been eating for five days, sleeping much for the past two and a half days, floating a few hours, but i woke it up with my pencil. I don't know whats going on.

I did put very cold water on the shelll when cleaning the food off it. However, the shell is sheding its skin, doesn't look pleasant overall.

What kind of enclosure does your turtle have? How much water? What is his normal diet? How old is it? How long have you had it?

the turtle is in a rubbermaid container, big for him to swim around. the water is average of 3 and a half inch deep. I always feed him pre-made food. I don't know how old is it, it is only abut an inch and a half. I had it for 5 months.

What are the water and basking temps? Do you have UVB and UVA lighting?

He's not moving much. Pronounced dead. Thats it folks. No more turtle for me. I had a great time with it, sadly lost someone I had for roughly five months.

Wait a minute...you said he's not moving much. There is still some movement? If so, he's still alive...What do the eyes look like?

What are the basking and water temps?

What do you mean pronounced dead? Even if he isn't moving much he still has a chance! Have you seen a vet?

nooo, turtles are fighters, don't just throw him out, give him a chance put him on the rock and take him to the nearest vet ASAP, it doesn't matter if the nearest "herp vet" is too far away, try to get him to some kind of vet.

He was dead that day after. Its eyes were dilated, I can't keep it alive. I'm sorry turtle lovers, and I will be far gone from you forum. Farewell.

I just had to respond to this, and I'm frustrated. I am very sorry for your loss. It may have been avoided if you would have answered the members' questions and of course taken the little guy to a vet right away. Please learn from this. I feel awful for the turtle, but I am under the impression that you didn't try everything you could to help him. I hope I'm wrong... :(
