there are some spots on my turtles shell and also some pieces that seem to be lifting/cracking. not sure if it's normal aging/shedding or something i should be concerned about. any and all help would be appreciated. TIA

It's starting to shed, however do be extra careful as it seems the turtle has grown too fast. So re-evaluate the diet and cut down on the pellets/protein.

You can do twice a day (I do it that way), but just cut back on the non-veggies.
