Hi all,
Boba is doing good, he is beginning his first shed which threw me off. Soft shell are extremely susceptible to shell problems. I noticed his shell had small spots that look like peeling skin, but then the whole shell looked like it was very dull. Now his shell is beginning to peel the top layer of skin for a nice shiny coat underneath. So all is good there. He is not taking to the pellets as much as I'd like but he loves lettuce, bloodworms, crickets, ghost shrimp and such. So far I love this little guy. When I change his water he chases my fingers, lol. It is funny now but when he gets big I have to watch out. Softies have very sharp beaks under the fleshy lips, their jars are super strong too. He is very active and his long neck looks so cool when he stretches it out to peak his nose above the water surface when he is buried in the sand. He comes out when I come by the tank to give him food. I only go next to it when cleaning, feeding and doing the partial water changes. It is very important to keep his water clean. I do partial water changes once a week. I will keep ya'll updated as he grows and will take pics;)

I will try to get a pic its hard to see with my crappy camera. I looks like a snake or lizard shedding underwater, that's the best way I can describe it.
