Just a neat picture showing the turtle bottom and my old VHS tapes.

Ranger, the newbie:

Musketurts' ATBA with a Morkie or Mindy doing the Superman.

Tiny Sleeping Ranger Superman! (and, yes, algae)

He noticed me.

And, my favorite, Sleeping Ranger and Curious Timmy:

HEY GUYS, HI.

This is Deker. He's named after a Power Ranger bad guy, and he's huge.

Here's Nyrtle-Sweetpea outside!

This is the first setup for Nyrtle. It's been seriously refined and doesn't look as much like crap. She has a better ramp and more sun area since I've repositioned the chair and fence some.

Nyrtle wakes up, shuffles to the door, waits for us to open it, derps her way outside, usually climbs up her ramp, slides into the water, and waits for us to feed her. She then will go in and out of the water, in and out of the sun, and back in the house at night, all on her own. This also keeps solicitors from knocking on our door. She has a place to hide under her ramp if she's caught out in the sun and is scared of something, and the water has eggcrate so she can climb out from only one side.
I'm marking off a spot in the backyard that I'll be converting into a turtle pond in the three weeks I have left before I get a job. It probably won't be totally done by then, but it'll be done enough that I can work on it on the weekends and get the turtles out there ASAP. The thing I'm looking forward to most (besides letting the turtles out of the garage) is intentionally planting dandelions along one side of the pond. I don't know why, but that's something I'm excited about.
