Urgent Care :: Does my res have shell rot :'(?!

Ive noticed my res hasnt been acting normal lately hes been refusing to get out of the water and bask on his floaty rock.
Its gotten to the point where i have to take him out of his tank and put him in a shoe box with a towel. Ive recently noticed that his shell is begining to loose scutes, he has shed before but its never looked like this. He is approximately 4 years old hes 7 inches long and and 4 inches wide (shell)
Can someone help please :'(?!?!!!

I don't see any shell rot, but I'm not sure what you're seeing as shedding. Whole,thin pieces is normal. You also have a girl.

if she doesnt want to get out of the water, maybe your water temp is too high so she doesnt want to get out to sun? or your basking area could not be warm enough to entice her to bask? just thoughts, any info on your temps could be helpful. is she showing any other signs of abnormal activity or just not basking?
