Was just so happy to see him up on his new rock (looking like he'd actually been up there awhile). If he's doing it on his own then I'm in good shape. :)

Hello all!

Ok so Sheldon has definitely begun the process of shedding as there is a large ring around his scutes and the ones on top are getting smaller. However, I have yet to see him flake one off. Penelope recommended cooked sweet potato. I will have to try that. Does anyone else have any suggestions?

P.S. My little boy isn't so little anymore and I will be upgrading his tank next month when I move into my apartment.

Add some wheat-germ koi pellets and blue berries to the diet... though I've never been able to confirm they actually work.

Wheat germ Koi pellets I can do. I've bought them before but do you know where I can go and not get a 10lb bag?

I hear blueberries make quite the mess... if you know what I mean...

I have no idea where I bought the pellets from, probably a local pet shop. I mix it with other pellets, so I don't need too much of it.

My local Petco only has a large bag and when I checked the internet for the ones I bought before, they only came in a large bag. I guess I shall have to keep digging. Thanks Steve.

This was the one I bought... http://www.petco.com/product/6234/Hikar ... -Food.aspx

It might have been at a Petland.
