I have tried hang on tank filters but they don't fit in the pools edge that's why I put a small beta tank in there then put the 2 filters attached in the little tank with the suction cups lol which one would you recommend that fits and can clean so much water?

Thanks

Most people run a simple bucket with a hole on the side near the bottom. Media is usually:

Course Foam
Fine Foam
Chemical
Biological
Biological

It's actually the cheaper way to go and can give great results. All you need is a bucket, pond pump, tubing, media, and plastic mesh (crafts store). Some key things are having a flow control valve coming off the pump, a good seal on the outlet pipe on the bottom, and a good quality pump. It really is easy to make an effective pump. To stay on a budget some people use pot scrubbers as bio media and that red lava rock as their chemical/charcoal.
