They are really cute.

@ Karawr: That looks more like rock than gravel to me, I didn't see any small pieces. If you've taken the time to sift out any pieces that are smaller than an adult RES's head then you should be more than all set.

it is rocks. not gravel. soon though im thinking about sand! only questioning it because hollywood is getting big. well not for a RES. but he was so tiny at first! lol. anyway he/she loves digging in the rocks and if he/she starts that with the sand like he/she does the rock it will be a disaster.
p.s. squirt loves digging in the rocks to he/she just doesnt do as much rearranging.

Even though they might be labeled as rocks, there are some smaller pebbles in there that are small enough to be eaten by the larger turtle. Even if there's only a few, it's a risk you don't want to take. Especially if your turtle is rooting around in it.

Yes, this is what I meant by my comment. Got the name wrong but my intentions were good! Just don't want either of those cute little guys eating a rock and having a hard time. :(
