Here's a video of Speedy eating a giant flower shaped turtle jello shot.

It's about as big as she is. Don't worry about overfeeding, they didn't eat it all I just grabbed the wrong one. It's practically all veggies anyway.

This might be a really weird question, but what is a jello shot?

There's a sticky about it in the nutrition section. In this context, it is a recipe combining jello, veggies and protein for turtles. It is usually used for turtles that refuse to eat their veggies.

Yeah, Speedy's the more aggressive eater. Shiloh usually finds the pellets first though. Speedy lives for the turtle shots. She KNOWS when it's shot time- Wed and Sat, when I clean the tank anyway so the mess is not a problem. Also when I have time to sit and watch the carnage. Saw Speedy's reaction to the enormous jello shot and had to get the camera to share. I think she would love some live prey, can't wait to finish my setup and try!
