Habitat - Indoor :: turtle wont bask!!!!!!

i built a basking box that has a very gradual ramp that has shelfliner for grip and my turtle wont go up it and bask.

how long have u had it...if its new or newer to the tank they need to ge used to it ...give it time and they should come around ...also is the temp of the basking area warmer than the water cuz if not they have no reason to bask
