well i'll start off with the bad i guess. try to be nice i didn't know. bout 5 years ago i baught 2 turtles in florida brought them home. got a 10 gallon tank for them from what i was told from the seller. i then moved to chicago for about 2 years so my mom took care of them for me one of them died. well i was never told i needed to do anything special. i still have my one turtle which is like the hulk i guess cuz he's still kickin from the horror i have found out that i have put him through. well now that i have found this site that will all change. for the past couple months i have been going to pet store trying to find out what im doing wrong. well i finally found a guy at petco that told me bout this site. from reading all the info on this site. tomarrow im picking up a 90 gallon tank and 3 filters from a person off craigslist. the filers are a Rena XP3, three (3) stage canister filter (with bio-media), and two (2) 55 Gallon Aqueon filters to hang on the back of the tank. for a very good deal. im still in the dark on some things which im hoping i can get answers from some of you guys that have expierience. what heater's, chemical additives stuff like that do you recommend. since i have never known that the water mattered and yes i am very upset with my self for not knowing any of this till now so like i said please go easy on me. thanx for reading

You're welcome to come visit our turtle habitat! Yours is a lot older than mine, but the lady I got my setup from did her research and had all the good things. I live in Belleville. 90 gallons may be a bit much to clean, so take that into consideration.
