She looks very well taken care of. Very healthy shell. I am sorry you must get rid of her. I admire that you really care where she goes. If I only could, I would love to take her.
Good luck, I hope you find her a good home.
I have two female red ear sliders.
Chimpy - 5.5 inches
Chompy- 6.0 inches
Both were born about 7/2007
Got them -- 9/2007

We bought a house and are doing the final move this weekend (3-20). I honestly will not have the time to take care of her as much as she will need and I really don't like the idea of posting an ad on craigslist. I am willing to take a loss on any $ I have into Monkey and her tanks, filter and other stuff if I know she will goto a good home.

360scamp: Monkey looks very happy and well cared for. I too would be sad if she went to someone who wouldn't be able to provide her with the proper care she deserves. My advice, make sure you think long and hard about who you choose to give her too!!!!

Good Luck!

360scamp, I agree with Turtle Mummy 101. Once things are set, maintenance is not so bad. The better the setup, the less maintenance. I spend more time washing lettuce for my turtles than anything else :)

steve: That's very true. I spend so much time cutting up and washing lettuce as well as cutting up pieces of cuttlebone. Charlotte can't get enough of it!

coreyvht: Congrats on the new addition! I'm sure Monkey will be very happy with you :)
