Is it legal to buy alligator snappers and if so were would I be able to find one?

Nope but i do know its illegal to own a snapping turtle that gets super large in California.

here is a site that sells a few snappers but i dont think thy have the alligator ones.

Don't get an alligator snapper. You will be bitten eventually, and you will lose a body part.

They grow up to 3 feet long, and require A LOT of room.

Besides, it's illegal.

I'm pretty sure there only illegal in Washington and California.

Yeah almost all snapping turtles get very large. and if they get ahold of your fingers or hands, consider them gone.

Did you know that snapping turtles have the same jaw power as a human? We just don't use it as well as them.

I did not...that is very interesting. I think they just have the ability to use the whole strength of the jaw in one swift bite as a human has to sit there and just push as hard as we can you know? Plus there little beak is much sharper then a human tooth so thats prob why they can get u so much harder then a human can bite.
