Besides going the MVB route as my tank is on 10 gals. Is there a lighting kit that can use both heating and UVB bulbs at the same time?

I don't have anywhere that I can use clamps unless I take the top grill off, but then my turtles will crawl out for sure.

I think Zilla has something like that, though you need to purchase their specialty bulbs.

One option is Zilla Halogen bulbs, that petdiscounters.com sells. I recommend this site way too much, but their prices are great, and frankly, when you can get really great products for really great prices, without taking any shortcuts, it's really worth mentioning too many times.

http://www.petdiscounters.com/R-Zilla-I ... p7922.html This thing is more expensive and doesn't seem to come any smaller. It's wide enough though, where someone like me would just sit it on top of the tank across the width of the tank, but I guess you could get away with clamping it the long way, it'll just look really awkward. At least you'll be able to use it in a fitting manner for a larger tank in the future.

http://www.petdiscounters.com/Sun-Spot- ... p8633.html I just found this thing, which is MVB, and I have no idea if this size of a bulb can be used for a small tank. I know MVB is often said to not be used for tanks under 50 gallons, but I am curious if that applies to the size of the bulb. Considering the wattage, you would have to place a considerable distance away from the basking area, like about two feet. I've never used MVB, and I don't know what the maximum distance is for these particular bulbs.
