Habitat - Indoor :: christmas tree??

hi guys after mooching in the attic for the christmas decorations i came across a christmas tree that i had no legs for. the branches are really thick and fluffy with lots of brissles. obviousley im talking about an artificial one if you were wondering. i had the idea that some of the branches would look great in the atba ive just built as there is very little in there at the moment. my question is then do you think the turtles would eat it? and if they did would it pass through the other side ok?

There is always the chance they will try to eat it. Since these were not intended to be put into the water, I would probably not put it into the tank.

HE was talking about using them in the above tank basking area, I dont see why you couldnt but like Steve said the chance is there that your turt(s) might nibble at it.

yeah i expect them to nibble at it but hopefully they will realise that it's not real. or at least not good for them. then next question is though would it pass through them ok? you know like when the dog east tinsell!! it always comes out the other end in tact.

Well, in order for your Turts to eat them, they'd have to pull off pieces and drag them into the water.
