Habitat - Indoor :: My turtle hit her head/shell when she dive

Turtle tank setups and other indoor configurations.

Ever since I get the new basking platform(the green acrylic one), because she always jump from the raised area, sometimes she'll hit her head or side of her shell on the bottom of the tank, it worries me sometimes she might get head injury or even crack the tank, does anyone have any suggestions? I'm thinking about getting a piece of soft pad and put at the bottom(like the plastic soft pad you put under the paper when you write), but afriad she might chew it up....

uhh, i dont know how severe her collisions are but my turtles bump into everything, when they leave the surface of the water, and they goto hide they bump into the rocks, and even the sides of the container (i have a storage container setup) they hit stuff when they dive in a hurry too, ive never thought anything of it they seem fine. How deep is your water, how much space is there from the bottom of the tank to the diving platform, can you increase water level?
