Shipping prices are nuts! It costs the same to ship as it does for the actual thermometer. Whenever I buy CD's the shipping is a little over a dollar. How much are these thermometers in the store?

Sometimes there on sale and soemtimes they are the same price in the store

Usually when buying online I try to wait until I have a bunch of things to get. That way the shipping cost is spread out across all the items and makes it worthwhile. Ordering just one item online is usually not worth it unless it's an expensive one like a big cannister filter. Then you will save a lot of money over the pet store even with the shipping costs.

I use a digital cooking therm. (my dad is a chef) and it works great!! I do plan to get on the stays in there though.
