Habitat - Indoor :: help new heater question?

I just got a topfin submersible heater. My question is, can the whole thing go into the water including the cord? The way I can set it up is sideways in the tank with about 2 inches of cord in the water too is this ok?

i would set it up vertically.and yeah some chord is allowed, just not all of it since it has to be plugged in.

i would set it up vertically but it says that the water as to be at the water line wich is all the way at the top so side ways is my only option becuase the top of my tank.

ugh that looks like the one I originally bought... it's almost impossible to use unless you have a rimless tank since the water level has to be so high... I gave in and bought a fully submersible after trying to fill my tank so high I could no longer use the zoomed dock and the turtles could have literally swam over the edge...
