Hi! Maybe we can share info...I have 2 babies!...one male and one female....I have had them for 10 months and they are doing well. I live in New York State. Where do you and your turtles live? Do you have warm weather year round? Looking forward to sharing stories about our turtles.

Did you measure them like it says on this page? (Scroll down to close to the bottom of the page).

Good for you. Romeo and Juliet are lucky to have someone that cares enough about them to do the research they need.

What great turtle names! I'm sure they'll love their renovated tank, there's a lot of good info on here and pictures of creative tanks so you should have lots of good ideas to base your tank off of :-)

well i just finished my above the tank basking area today, its simple but thats to my boyfriend, its a lot better than i would ever make! lol.

My turtles love that im actually learning what to do lol, instead of filling the tank half way like the pet people i bought mine from said to do. (stupid people) this site is so amazingly incredible!

any ideas on what to do??

i have:
-2 turtles:)
-20 gal. tank.
-a plastic ex.large plant(they love to hide in it)
-an above the tank basking area(still iffy about it)
-a 100 w. heat bulb
-and a Full spectrum light.

am i doing it right or totally wrong? petstore guy said im doing excellent but what do they know.
