Today I have bought an aditional water filter (http://www.marineland.com)... Here is how it looks in realty...
Image
It will be an additional filter towards to the canister filter and consists Bio-Grid Biological filter plate as biological surface for support of BIO-Spira nitrifying bacteria. Combines with Venturi-action Impell Air Tube assembly to deliver advanced wet/dry biological filtering action. And some kind of filter catridge with improved Black Diamond Premium Activated Carbon.

I think it must to be a good choice.

P.S. I don`t want that you look at a hole videoclip in Russian but just since 17:07 till 19:18 it talks about filtration setup as 3 different types of filters in one aquarium. http://youtu.be/StfKsPBI57k
May be it can be interesting to see.
I can interpreting a bit that here is a general director of a company in Russia who`ve decided to make a big aquarium for big fishes in his office as an interior detail. So they use 3 types of filtration systems: biofiltration as a canister filter, small chemical filter and additional filter as mechanical filtration. And the aquarium must to clean, in this case, every one week.

Hang on Tank filters are good for your smaller setups. The major complaints that people have when using them with turtles are:

1) small capacity for media
2) difficulty priming because most turtle keepers don't fill up the tank... you shouldn't have that problem or with this...
3) noise... also usually from low water levels

Problems... complaints... hm-m... let me see... yes, it can leaks. Exactly that always ask your dealer for inspection with filling the filterbox to the top in shop - not at home (like I did it), before final installation. The "Millennium" was exchanged on next day and I use insulating seal on a groove else. So, it is no problems with the filter now. It works.

Leaking is never good. Was the leak by the pump?

It was in site of junction between motor (power unit) and filter body with ring. First filter leaks immediately, as soon as it was filled by water. Second filter leaks when it turns on. I simply insulate this place.
There were just two filters "Millennium" in a big aquariumistic shop in Moscow - so, it is difficult to exchange the filter one time else.
