broken? xp3
Posted: Thu Sep 08, 2011 9:29 pmHi, I recently bought an XP3 filter, I am waiting until I move to use it and set up my new aquarium i recently bought for my turtle.
I tried to <play> a little with it, and couldn't take the top part off. when it came off, a little piece of plastic fell on the floor, it had my kinda panicked. (the lid, the quick disconnect place)
I don't know how a <mint> condition XP3 looks like, I cant really test it out ( since its not in my house right now) but i'm going to my dad's shop every weekend.
except trying it out, plugging it on, is there any other way I can know if it's broken?

Or you can pick it up and smash it on the floor. At least then you'll know for sure it's broken 
(just kidding don't do that)
