Hello all ,

I am new here and i am glad to have joined this community!
I am looking for a good lamp for my turtle's basking area! I found a lamp which combines UVA/UVB rays and heat at the same time.It is described as a Full Spectrum Lamp 160W.Is it any good or should i search for separate lamps ?

The only lamp that produces heat, UVA, and UVB acceptable for turtle keeping is a Mercury Vapor Bulb. (MVB)

Several manufacturers make them. Do you have a link to the bulb you're looking at?

That's definitely a MVB bulb and SHOULD work just fine. However that is a brand I've never heard of.

Indeed! You are right about the brand.

I think i'll pass that and just buy a Reptisun 5.0 for my  with a separate heat lamp
One last question....do we know if shipping's safe? I mean ,i don't need any lamp coming in pieces.

Thanks again!

I've ordered bulbs and they've arrived in one piece. If one did arrive broken, you should be able to contact the place where you ordered it for a replacement.
