A floating turtle pier?

Since Sheldon's tank is so deep, this might allow me to get him closer to his basking lamp, but I don't know if he would be too big to climb up on it without tipping it over everytime.

Anyone have any experience with this? Sheldon is 3 or 4 and about 4.5 inches long.

I think would be better off getting a zoomed turtle dock.

If im correct the biggest turtle pier only fits a 20 gallon how big is your tank?

If you don't want to put the water over 12" high then it should be fine. If you do want the water up high I suggest either a turtle dock (unless your turtle gets heavy) in which case you'll want an above tank basking spot. I have the turtle topper for that by the same company that makes the pier. Which I ordered today for a smaller tank for my new hatchling.
