filter help!!!

hi everybody im new to this forum! i was wondering if anybody could tell me what size filter i would need to use for a 40 gallon breeder tank? i only have one turtle and he is about 4 inches long.

I would think that one that flowed 120gph would be needed. But typically you want to get the most filter your budget can allow, regardless of Tank size.

I never used it cause i like fluvals...But it does seem like a good filter by the reviews i've seen

Memp-29 Most are partial to canisters. For that size a 300 gph would be great. They are easier to clean and maintain. Try and stick to the 5x rule at least. I have a 350 gph on a 29 gallong and it does great. M.
