i have the 5.0 uvb light now, it's a bit short for my 60" tank. it takes care of my turtles needs but doesn't light the tank the way i'd like. i'm using a 60 watt bulb for heat and at 8" it's a nice 88 degrees. i don't want to have 3 lights going along with my heater, filter and powerhead so is there a uvb that's 3' or 4' long? my tanks acrylic with the goofy top so a mvb is out until i get my atba together. any help or links would be appreciated.

I'm not sure I completely understand the question. Are you looking for tube lighting options?

Yup, Exo-Terra makes a UVB 5.0 fluorescent tube in 36" or 48" lengths: http://www.exo-terra.com/en/products/linear_fluorescent_bulbs.php.
