How come mine keep blowing out?
This is the 2nd bulb that died on me! The 1st one exchanged with this and they said the thing's turned black, while this one seems to be the case too.
What's wrong?
Am I doing something wrong?
I on at least 10 hours/day btw .

How long are they lasting? I think mine only lasted 2-3 months

Are they getting splashed by water at any time?

I don't know if the filter might be splashing it for a bit...

This is only a basking bulb? I use a normal outdoor halogen bulb for my tanks.

Me too. Much cheaper. ;)

I have had some bulbs go out, including my uvb. I think it was from getting splashed. It seems to be the same tank, the one with the hob filter. I need to come up with a better system on that tank.
