I noticed that my filter hoses look like they have debris in them which I know is a sign that I also have to clean my filter. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can use to clean out the hoses/tubes? Thanks!

A piece of wooden dowel much smaller than the tubes inner diameter with a rag on the end. Ram it through a few times and it should clean up.

I don't bother cleaning them though. I just go to the hardware store and for a few bucks I have new tubing. I'm lazy lol.

I use the dowel method... watch out for flying gunk.
