Hello, I have heard that silver sulfadiazine cream works great for fungus and was looking forward in purchasing some. Just wondering if the one sold at amazon would work. It's called Thermazene 1% Silver Sulfadiazine Cream

http://www.amazon.com/Thermazene-Silver ... 802&sr=1-1

My turtle has a small white patch that has been there for ages, but never spread so I'd figure I would try some. Any input would be appreciated =)

I think this is a version that some vets sell. It's better to have a herp vet diagnose a problem and plan a treatment.

Can you post a picture of the white spot?
My one turtle has several "scars" on his shell of various lighter colors from injuries he acquired before I got him. It could just be that your turtle's shell has a similar blemish.

I don't have a camera on me but the white spot isn't really huge and seems to be getting smaller for some reason :O. As for a vet, there are none in my area so I thought getting something like this in case would be best on the safe side. Thanks for the inputs!
