I've got that one. It's fine. Better than the Hagen one I got with my heater.
I picked that one up because it was cheap ($5).
The power button can be a little funny, but it seems to give a fairly accurate reading.

It looks like the same thing as the Coralife thermometers i have. They don't last forever, but i haven't sound anything better. The other digital themometers that have all the fancy (and useless to me) functions are awfully expensive so i've never bought them.

I agree. Right now, I would get a sticky LCD type and a temp gun.

i did that same thing in my tank with my 2. they read around the same thing though
Horsepower is how fast you hit a wall. Torque is how far you move a wall
