can anyone gimme any stats on some ceramic heat emitters? i'm thinking of getting one for the hedgehog cage and i know some people on here are good at math. i need to know which emitter would be best to get if i wanted to keep an area of about 1.5' X 2' at around 80*. the emitter would be placed about 1.5' above Cloud's living area.
thanks

i have a 60 watt that i used to use and it heated up the area pretty good. gave me a good size burn when i accidentally touched it too.

can't use a bulb cause of the light. Cloud likes to do everything at night, in darkness

you could use a red heat bulb.. supposedly can't be seen by rodents, herps, etc.

if you're only going to 80 degrees, i'd say a 60 watt is good for that size cage.
Is the cage an aquarium or a metal grate (hamster cage) type setting?
