Does this Turtle Clean stuff work? What is it exactly? Someone bought it for me while they were watching my turtle.

If your tank water is so dirty that you are considering additives, then the better solution is to clean your tank more frequently, clean/replace your filter media more frequently and/or upgrade your filter.
I'm not suggesting that the product doesn't do what it says, only that it sounds like you are treating the symptom rather than the cause.

I hope you're not insinuating my pristine tank is "so dirty" I need to add additives, I was just wondering if it was bacteria or some sort of water conditioner. It was used in my tank so I'd like to know what it is exactly. For all I know my crystal water is due to this stuff.

SpenceMasta, I wasn't insinuating anything, but if someone bought it for you then they must have thought that your tank needed cleaning. I was just suggesting that there are better ways to properly deal with a dirty tank than to use additives.
This is the same as 'Cycle' which just provides beneficial bacteria that is to be used (as the website says) with a filtration system. In normal operation with existing biological filtration this isn't necessary. It is beneficial when used for setting up (cycling) a new tank, or a new filter, or should you ever replace your biological media (rings, stars, Bio-max, etc).
Adding it to your tank will not harm it or your turtle, but, as with anything labeled 'for turtles', I would question its value.

In an extreme case, someone said that it would break down waste inside their turtle which lead to diarrhea. I've never used it and do not plan to (I follow Fuzzy Hamster's logic), and I think such a product is unnecessary.
