Turtle has white spots and the main site suggested this. Has anyone tried it?

Along with that make sure he is getting the proper light and heat when basking. You should dry dock him a few hours a day while treating. It is a fungus and cannot thrive while dry. b.

Take him out of his tank and let him soak in it for an hour. Then completely pat him down and put him in like a shoe box with a towel (and I think you can put his light on him, just maybe at a further distance, to keep him warmer) for an hour or two.

It's suggested as a preventative, but if there is an ongoing fungal infection, it probably won't help much. Unfortunately, fungus spreads quickly and is very opportunistic.

ive been soaking him an hour a day for 4 days now... about half hour dry docking after (he hates it).. should i be dry docking or soaking longer? When do I start seeing results.

His shell looks the same.. it could be getting worse... then again i could just be getting worried and now i'm seeing everything

I would suggest several hour per day. If you need a number -- about 4 or 5 hours per day. Thirty minutes is not enough. It does not matter if he likes it or not. It is what is best for him. Check with your vet and see what he suggest!

It would good to check with a herp vet. Frankly, I'm doubtful as to whether those sulfa dips are all that effective.

My (well, now it's my friends) baby turtle had white on its shell and i used sulfa dip. It cleared up in four days so it either worked or he got the proper drying of his shell.

The white we've seen on hatchlings has not been confirmed to be fungus. Since the shells are very sensitive at that stage, corrective measures in husbandry will do far more good.
