Equipment Review and Discussion :: good idea?

in my 29 gallon turtle tank, i was gonna take it out and put it in my 10 gallon tank and replace it with this one:

do u think its a good idea? the filter i have now does a good job but i have to filters in my 10 gallon and they dont cut it so i thought this could be a good idea

I'm not familiar with that brand of filter, but it does remind me of the Fluval+ filters. I would invest in a canister or HOT filter at this point.

i cant find any canister that is reasonably priced. i only have a 29 gallon tank and my turtle is 2" so its fine for now, and a fluxal 405 or fx5 or whatever is not in the cards, can u guys give me a suggestion than? or how i could build a caniser filer kind cheap?

Building one shouldn't be expensive provided you or someone you know have the skills to make one. Perhaps a lower end Aquaclear?

i could probably do that, since no one has the skills haha, can u recommend one?

re-24 I have a Marineland Magnum 350 on a 29 and it does a good job. Remember the 5x rule when sizing a filter. Price ?

You can find the Magnum 350 on Amazon for around $105. I use one on my 75 gallon and it works well along with a small internal.
