Ok. it was working fine, but was kind of noisy. I disconnected the filter for a while, when I tried to plug it back in it was not working. I could hear the motor running very quietly, however no water was going into the tank.

I disconnected it again, and filled the right tube with water, the I put the cap on. I pushed the lever down, and water started filling up the filter however the left hose (that pumps water into the tank) did not completely fill up and again no water went into the tank.

Does anyone know whats wrong with my fitler?

The outlet tube doesn't need to be filled for the filter to start up. Did you give it a few minutes to prime? Whats the water level in the tank?
