Tray

1: Biomax
2: Biomax
3: Water Polishing pads
4: Ceramic Rings

Finalized and installed everything today and I must say the flow is much better. Also the polishing pads do an excellent job of clearing the water up. Overall I'm super happy with the 404!!!
I build acrylic ATBAs.

1. Rings
2. Rings
3. Carbon
4. Carbon
1 F RES 9" (Kingler)
1 F Belize Slider 7" (Agamemnon)

Well that's what mine came with.

What do you suggest. I'll switch it up as long as I don't pay a huge amount for some media.

I'm sooooo glad I took my carbon out!! However if you're using the stuff that comes with it I'd put the ceramic rings first then the carbon.

The carbon doesn't really do much and if you look at the bags just imagine water trying to flow thru them. But hey I ran mine with two trays of carbon for over a month with no issues. Kept the water looking great. I'd recommend atleast one tray of bio.
