Well if you're deadset on spending more money for a smaller filter that is made for a smaller tank than get the XP2. Otherwise if your ready to stepup to the plate pickup a 404 off ebay.

I guess I just don't see the value in spending 30 dollars more for less of a filter. :?:

fluval 4+ would like blow bubbles and not water/ little water and the motor stopped working

Sounds like you had an airlock. If you do have air stuck in their, then you need to resolve the issue. This applies to internal as well as canisters.

If you do not get rid of the airlock, the motor will be wrecked. Something to be wary of with your new filter
