My old ones blew out so I bought the RES's a 75 Watt basking spot lamp.. Is this too hot? Also i bought my russian a new 100W which i know is fine.. just wondering on the 75.

You need to measure the temperature of the basking area...Wattage doesn't really matter as much as distance

Of course the higher the wattage the further it needs to be away

There should be a minimal distance so that your turtles cannot reach the lamp or get too close while stacked.
