The only reason I'm getting a waterfall filter for a 55 is because it is cheaper and I don't mind cleaning the tank a little more and save about $100.

That's what you say now, in a couple months, your gonna wish you had paid that extra 100 bucks. Canister filters are soo much better.

SURE!......LOL I know but the have really good reviews and if it sucks I'll take it back and get something else and if that doesn't work...I'll wait till Christmas and get an FX3 or something.

i have an aqua clear 300(WATERFALL), it works great, if you want to to circulate the tank well, it depends were you position it.
