I keep finding mixed reviews about this product online, does anyone on here have it? Is it any good?

I have one and Toby loves it, but I do know there are some bad reviews out there. I used to have another one in my frog tank and one time when I was cleaning I put my thumb through the plastic part and broke it and had to throw it away. The one in Toby's tank has lasted 8 months so far.

Thanks, I found a large one for like 5 bucks so it's worth the 8 mo. usage. Should I soak it first or anything?

So I just got the "Large" turtle hut from ups today. I ordered it from sheets.com and it cost around 4.50 it is way smaller then I thought it would be so I might re-order for the extra-large or Giant size. If I do upgrade the size I'm not gonna get it from the same website because the hut is shorter on one side and looks like a factory reject which explains the low prices on the website.

i just use a small plastic rectangular garbage can that cost me 99 cents, i put it on its side and placed a rock inside to weigh it down in the water, its 9 inches wide and 6 inches tall so there's plenty of room for my turtle to rotate around when she hides inside.

my turtle uses that as her little house, she's either sleeping inside of it or guarding the entrance

it's not as aesthetically pleasing, but its so simply to clean and i dont have to worry about wear and tear since its just smooth plastic

Cost me a dollar and i've been using it for 7 years

We have a half log in our snake's cage and the bts's cage, but they aren't the aquatic version. I haven't heard anything bad about them though.

It's in the tank now, my turtles are spending alot of time walking on top of it and if they feel brave inside it too. It looks very good underwater but I'm still gonna get a larger size.
